Worthen, Larry
Executive Director
After a 9 month search process, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Larry Worthen from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia has accepted the job of Executive Director of CMDS Canada. Larry brings to the position a wealth of leadership experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors and a heart that cares deeply about doctors, dentists, and the things of God.
Larry is excited by this opportunity to serve God by supporting the integration of faith and professional life of Christian doctors and dentists. This is of great personal concern for him as he is married to a family physician, and has a son who hopes to become a specialist. Keenly aware of the challenges that Christian doctors and dentists face, Larry has facilitated a regular meeting of Catholic doctors in Dartmouth.
His desire is to help Christian doctors and dentists have a voice in shaping the public policy agenda in the years ahead while keeping their faith alive in a radically secular environment.
